Sterling Tea Ceylon Limited is a family owned tea producer and manufacturer based in Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon). The Managing Director, Ajith Silva, believes in providing only the purest grade and highest quality tea to buyers. He established this company in 2004 utilising his previous 15 years experience gained from working for other major Sri Lankan tea estates. Sterling Tea Ceylon Limited was established with the view to exporting bulk quantities of the finest quality that could be made. The factory is certified to ISO 9000 and HACCP standards.

Sterling Tea Ceylon Limited accesses green tea leaf supplies from both its plantation located in the central hills high country in Sri Lanka (high grown tea) and from other estates in the lower areas (low grown tea). This enables the best quality liquor and flavour to be achieved in the tea products as the climatic conditions in Sri LankaÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½s tea growing areas greatly affect these qualities. Sterling Tea Ceylon Limited also owns a manufacturing factory where the tea is processed and packed. The company prides itself on being a supplier of quality product that travels as swiftly as possible form the factory to the buyer, thus ensuring its freshness.

The marketing arm of the business is being conducted as a collaboration with Wyatt Enterprises Pty Ltd based in Brisbane, Australia. Collectively we started this enterprise to make it easier for people to find the best quality drinking teas using the internet.
