The saddle stitcher SS6 Stitch Star, designed to meet the needs of modern bindery which performs with an automatic stitching line with 10 feeders and online three knife trimmer.

Simple maintenance and quick make-ready of stitching heads, assured reliable and efficient production.
Simple timing of gathering chain to the stitcher.
Bearing supporting the gripper bar provides precise book transfer and extends gripper bar life.
Maintenance-free steel capped gathering chain and chain rails

Signature Feeders
The feeders are designed on the basis of signature â��Peel offâ�� system. Alloy rollers persistently peel each signature from the pile. Each of the three rotating vacuum shafts separates the signature without friction from the pile and lays on the onveyor chain.

Signatures with and without overfold can be handled.
No platform required for the loading of pile.
Mark free processing of freshly-printed paper.
Uniform transport and control of signatures in all sizes.

Ejector
Missed-signature control device.
Down time is minimised due to the automatic missed signature control and dropping device.
Incomplete brochures are sorted out before entering the stitching station.
Minimises wastage.

Trimmer
The gearing of the trimmer runs in the oil which helps in reducing noise, vibration and provides long life to gears.
Rugged construction ensures standing performance.
Fore-edge is trimmed in the first operation and head/foot are trimmed in the second ***** & trimming provides consistent and right angle trimming quality of the project.
Product held stationary while being trimmed.
Belt pressing rollers adjustable without stopping machines with the help of adjusting knobs.
See-through protective covers.
Optional fourth knife for two-ups production.
