Under implementation of the Resolution no.05/NQ/TW of the Central
Executive Committee in order to continue arranging, refreshing and
improving the efficiency of State Businesses. On April 02nd, 2014,
The Board of Directors of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation
promulgated the Decision no.54A/QĐ.HĐQT. Accordingly, some
subsidiaries of Long An Food Corporation have been merged into
Agricultural Mechanics Construction Factory. The subsidiaries
included: Specialty Rice Processing Factory, Infrastructure
Investment and Real Estate Enterprise, Binh Tinh Food
Purchasing and Processing Station and Transport Team was chosen to
implement the equitization plan.

In order to perform Food Export
and Import function, Mecofood owns a modern and professional
system of warehouse and factory to meet the demand of Food
purchase, storage and processing. Details as below:

capacity: 100.000mts per year.
· Modern
production line which can process all kind of rice to meet the
demand of all markets.
We annually has competency to purchase, process and
export 100.000mts rice on average. Our rice products have been
reaching domestic market and foreign markets easily both by land
and by sea.
