Biggest weakness**-"filament" burns out easily and can not work anymore.


*****Operating Principle"Electrodeless Tube in Tube L" (CCFL- -Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) is a kind of fluorescent lamps, and its lighting principle is similar to fluorescent light. *****CCFL Voltage CharacteristicIn some cases, voltage characteristic of CCFL and Zener Diodes are very similar, before lighting up, CCFL present infinite   impedance, once lit, is basically a kind of resistive impedance.


Judge from Figure 1, curves can be divided into start-up and working stage. Dotted line on the left is the start-up stage. In the start-up stage, the lamp starts early with weak current. With the increasing of the voltage between the electrodes at both ends of lamp, the internal mercury ion increase quickly with directional movement, which gradually increase the lamp current, when the voltage rose to a certain amount, the lamp started. After starting up, the lamp shows a negative impedance characteristic_the higher the Current, the smaller the voltage across the tube.


In working stage, current decides the brightness, which is shown in Figure 2. Increase of CCFL luminance can be achieved by increasing the current, but the increased current role is limited. Meanwhile, too much current will damage the lamp electrodes, thereby affecting the lamp life.
