Principle:
- A taper drum sieve is running round and round in the
machine, the stream of material flows in and goes through the
sieve while the coarse are separated as over tails. Grain and
offal are collected and sent to different outlets.

Application:

- The drum sieve separates coarse impurities such as pieces of
straw, bag tapes, paper, pieces of wood, and corn (maize) leaves
and cobs, etc.
- This protects downstream processing and conveying equipment
from malfunctions and damage.
