CrWMn
steel has high harden ability. this steel has excess
carbide and higher hardness and wear resistance of more
than chromium steel and 9SiCr steel after quenching and
tempering due to the tungsten carbide formation. In
addition, tungsten and helping to preserve the fine grain,
so that the steel have good
toughness. The
CrWMn steel cutting tool with less of breakage of blade's
cutting, and
can better maintain the blade shape and size. However,
steel is sensitive to form carbide network, this network
exists, makes the tool edge is peeling risk, so that the
service life of the tool is shortened,
carbide network steel, forging and
normalizing must be carried out according to its severity.
