Fused aluminum-magnesium
spinel is smelted by adopting high purity powdered magnesium
and powdered commercial alumina through large-scale
high-temperature electric arc furnace. It is characterized by
high density, good appearance and color, strong corrosion
resistance, good thermal shock. It is widely used for
refractory products, such as steel-making electric furnace
roofs, converter and ladle, large cement rotary kiln, and glass
regenerator.
