The spiral gasket consists of "v-shape"(or"w-shape")metal tape and nonmetal tape,which are overlapped each other and wound continuously.

To fasten the metal tape,both its start point end point are tack welded.

1.A. spiral wound gasket consists of four types:basic type,with inner ring,with outer ring,and with inner and outer rings.

B.heat exchanger spiral wound gasket:basic type and with inner and outer rings

2.Normally material used:

A.Steel tape :*8F ocr*3,ocr*8Ni9Ti.1Cr*8Ni9Ti(**1).ocr*7Ni*2,M*2(**6),and 0Cr*7Ni*4M*2(**6L)

B.(Cold roll)steel plate for inner and outer ring:

Outer ring "mild steel ,ocr*3 and OCr*8Ni9

Inner ring:same as steel ,special order is available through negotiation.

C.Normetal tape:flexible graphite,special made asbestos,teflon and non-asbestos paper

Gasket Materials:

Metal ring:SS**4,SS**6,SS**6L,SS**1,Inconel,other special materials as requirements.

Filler: graphite,PTFE,asbestos,non-asbestos.

Produce Standard:

ASME,ASNI,JIS, JPI, EN. DIN,ISO
