Overrunning indexing backstopping ball bearing supported sprag clutches

FSO model contain formchrome® sprags and formspragfree-action retainers.these clutches mount on a through-shaft,with the inner race driven by a key.standard keys are supplied by formsprag at no additional charge.the group O.D. of the outer race is designed as a pilot or mounting surface for attaching parts and is concentric with the bore.tapped holes are provided in each end of the outer face for securing these parts to the clutch.

FSO model allows higher inner race overrunning speeds than FS series.they are also suitable for general overrunning and light-to medium-duty indexing applications.they are grease lubricated and equipped with grease seals.



the full complement of cams made special alloy steel provides greater torque capacity than the other roller clutch the dimpling of cam clutch is distributed around the inner race way,not concentrated.therefore this offer long life performance high precision without any backlash and silent operation.
