Properties:
water bearing magnesium rich silicate clay mineral with chain
structure, orthorhombic or monoclinic system, usually lump, soil or
fibrous aggregate. Fresh surface is pearl luster, and after
weathering is earth like luster;
Color:
white, gray, dark gray, brown, red, blue and green
rose;
Features:
slippery and astringent, sticky tongue. It is brittle in dry
condition. The shrinkage rate is low, the plasticity is good, the
specific surface is large, and the adsorbability is strong. It is
dissolved in hydrochloric acid and light in quality. Sepiolite also
has the functions of decolorization, heat insulation, insulation,
corrosion resistance, radiation resistance and thermal stability.
It has strong adsorption, decolorization and dispersion properties.
It also has high thermal stability, high temperature resistance up
to 1500~1700℃ degrees, and its modeling, insulation and salinity
are very good;
