The copper pipe water jacket is a kind of cooling water jacket,
namely the copper casting cooling water jacket, which is used in
the water cooling equipment of metallurgical furnace or blast
furnace and can replace the refractory. It is not only resistant to
high temperature, mechanical erosion and chemical corrosion, but
also because of its cooling effect to protect the covering in the
body of the refractory material, extended service life, thus
ensuring efficient and continuous production.
That is, the inlet and outlet pipes of the cooling water jacket and
the cooling water channel in the jacket are formed with a complete
copper pipe embedded in the mold, and then poured copper liquid
into the mold. After casting and cooling, the embedded copper pipe
or alloy pipe and the water jacket body are fused into a whole. The
copper cooling water jacket made by this process has the following
characteristics:
(1) the buried copper cooling water jacket adopts the whole copper
pipe or the alloy pipe bend type as the cooling water channel, the
embedded pipe directly goes through the water pipe of the cooling
water jacket connected to the cooling water circulation system
outside the furnace shell, no plug is needed, no welding is
required, there will be no leakage this major hidden trouble, safe
and reliable. The embedded water pipe adopts arc bending system,
the inner wall of the embedded pipe is smooth, the running
resistance of cooling water is small, and the heat dissipation
intensity is large.
(2) compared with the rolled copper drilling cooling water jacket,
the buried copper casting water jacket can meet the needs of
different customers, can be cast into an arc surface, the iron
mouth and other special shape area can also be designed into a
notch shape. It is very difficult to manufacture by drilling holes.
The cooling water channel and the hot side dovetail groove can
achieve a single casting, greatly simplifying the production
process, greatly reducing the manufacturing cost, significantly
reducing the energy consumption and shortening the manufacturing
cycle, which is conducive to mass production.
