A carefully selected coaltar, originating from the production of metallurgical coke, forms the basic raw material for all our Tar Compounds . The water resistant characteristic of tar compounds together with the resistance to solvents and heat of epoxy-resins, make tar-epoxy systems extremely suitable for anti-corrosive paints ***** for structural steel in aggressive areas. Coatings, based on tar-epoxy systems have good flexibility together with impact and abrasion resistance and hardness.
