Silica mortar（Siliceous mud）is the main monolithic refractories
used in building carbonization chamber of coke furnace and molten
pool and roof of glass furnace etc. There are different
requirements in the physical and chemical properties to different
kinds of kiln and different parts in the kiln. For example, for Hot
blast furnace the content of SiO2 should be more than *4% and
refractoriness of getting soft under load at 0.2 Mpa should be
between ***0 ℃and ***0 ℃. For Glass furnace the content of SiO2 is
*4% to *6% and the refractoriness of getting soft under load at 0.2
Mpa is ***0 ~ ***0 ℃. For coke oven the content of SiO2 is *5% -
*2% and the refractoriness of getting soft under load at 0.2 Mpa is
***0 - ***0 ℃.
