3. Working Modes
WAN to WI-FI(RT mode):Connect ADSL modem with 7R**8’s RJ*5 port, this device turns to be a full featured compact wireless router. Surfing the internet can be accessed and shared wirelessly with router WIFI signals. This is applied in various broad brand networks.
WIFI to LAN(CLIENT mode): Connect 7R**8 RJ*5 port to PC Ethernet card, or connect extended network switch, 7R**8 searches and receives Wi-Fi signal and converts to LAN signal, realize more computers share the accessed network.
LAN to WI-FI(AP mode): Connect Switch or wired router with 7R**8’s RJ*5 port,7R**8 can converts Ethernet to WIFI signal for WIFI mobile, Tablet and notebook ect wireless devices surfing.
WIFI to WIFI+LAN(Repeater +Bridge):Choose ‘AP CLIENT’ in WEP interface, 7R**8 will search and receive Wi-Fi signal, in this mode, it can extend and transmit WIFI signal. Meanwhile, users can still access internet via 7R**8’s LAN port with Ethernet cable.
