Oil refineries, Petrochemical Plants and
chemical plants have extensive requirements of heat exchangers for
heating, cooling, condensation and heat recovery. Due to accute
shortage of water, many of these heat exchangers are of air cooled
type. As water crisis is getting worse day by day, need for air
cooled heat exchangers is growing. Air fin coolers shown in the
picture are used to cool Naptha and LCO in
refineries.
