Horizontal Ball Mill is widely used in cement,

working principle: The
Ball Mill is a horizontal rotary drum apparatus driven by gears
outside. It is a lattice pattern with two storage cells. The raw
materials enter into the first cell of the Ball Mill evenly through
the quill shaft in charging part. There are step liner palates or
wave liner palates in the first cell which have been loaded various
steel spheres of different scales. When rotating, the drum causes
centrifugal force that brings the steel spheres to a certain height
and then the spheres drop to impact and grind the materials. After
the rough grinding in the first cell, the qualified partials will
enter into the second cell through a single division plate .There
are flat palates welded on the inner wall of the second cell, as
well as steel spheres. The materials will be further grinded in it
and at last the qualified granularities will be discharged through
the unload part. Then the whole process is
completed.
Overflow ball mill is is composed of feeding
part, discharging part, turning part and driving part (reducer,
small driving gear, electric motor and electric control). The quill
shaft adopts cast steel part and the liner is detachable. The
turning gearwheel adopts casting hobbing process and the drum is
equipped with wear-resistant liner, which has good wear-resistance.

Overflow Ball Mill Working
Principle:
The
ball mill takes horizontal cylindrical rotation driven by brim
gearwheel. There are two chambers and a grid. Materials go into the
first chamber through the feeding inlet. Inside the first chamber,
there are stage liners and ripple liners as well as steel balls.
The shell rotates so as to generate electricity, and this force
brings balls to a certain height and then balls drop down by
gravity, the impact is the grinding force to the material. After
the primary grinding, materials go into the second chamber through
segregation screen. In the second chamber, there are flat liners
and steel ball. After the secondary grinding, material is
discharged from the discharging mouth. Then the whole grinding
process is ended.
