polymer (GFRP) IS used as an alternative material to the
steel rebar.
It is lightweight, no-corrosion, superior tensile strength, and
high mechanical performance. Installation of the
GFRP rebar is
similar to steel rebar,
but with less handling, transporting and storage
problems.
