alloy commonly used in capillary brazing and braze welding of
joints in copper, brass and bronze-zinc alloys.
The most common
applications of this alloy are in piping, electrical appliances,
electric motors, precision mechanics, heating, air conditioning,
food industry, gs pipes,etc.
Particular characteristics:
Copper-phosphorus
alloy with low silver content.
It is not advisable to use in joins in contact with sulphurous
fluids.
Is also not advisable brazing in alloys with iron and nickel. In
case of iron, it can oxidize resulting in brittleness of the
join. For copper-copper joins, its not necessary to use
flux.
