celebrated our *6th anniversary with the accomplishment of obtaining certifications by many
international safety agencies ie: UL, CSA, PSE, EK, CCC, CU etc to IT equipment and many
other applications. Powertron is ISO ***1:***8 as well as ISO ****1:***4. Powertron is
committed to be in compliance with laws and regulations including the EU Directive ***1/*5/EU
(RoHS 2.0) and RoHS standard of product as well. Furthermore, Since June 1, ***7 the new EU
chemicals legislation no ***7/***6 is in force. It is a system for the registration, evaluation,
authorization and restriction of chemicals, in short REACH. According to our current state of
knowledge, Powertrons products and packing materials comply with the restriction of SVHC
(Substances of Very High Concern) in (EC) ***7/***6 regulated by the European Union. Later
on ***4, the US Department of Energy (DOE) issued a pre-publication Federal Register final
rule. It is not only increases the minimum energy efficiency requirement of EPS from level IV to
level VI, but also extends their scope to encompass lower voltage AC- or DC-output EPS,
multiple-voltage EPS and EPS with nameplate output power exceeding **0 watts. In
accordance to the new efficiency requirement, Powertron has up-graded all product line to
Level VI to meet the compliance date for the new requirements on *0 February ***6.
