Aluminum Honeycomb Cores Description: Aluminum honeycomb is a lightweight core material which offers excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Depending on requirements the honeycomb can be made from either ***3, ***2 or ***6 aluminum alloy foil. Features: � Elevated use temperatures � High thermal conductivity � Flame resistant � Excellent moisture and corrosion resistance � Fungi Resistance � Low weight/High Strength Applications: Aluminum honeycomb uses include aircraft floors, tooling panels, fuel cells, shelving, panels and anywhere else a lightweight, high strength solution is required. Availability: Aluminum honeycomb is available in four forms: unexpanded blocks, unexpanded block slices, untrimmed expanded sheets and cut to size expanded sheets. Also available with or without cell perforations to facilitate cell venting for certain applications.
