Heat shrinkable bags are now a popular choice for manufacturers, replacing vacuum bags for meat, poultry, sea food and cheese packing. Unlike other non-shrinkable films which is in sheet form and uses a straight seal, heat shrinkable film is normally produced in tube form using a curved seal. Therefore, the technology used to seal and cut for shrink films is different from non-shrink films.
