VSS Groups Provide a range of bulletproof hard armor insert plates are used to upgrade the ballistic protection​ of body armour vests to defeat high velocity threats. Our plates are constructed using ceramic materials such as Alumina Oxide, Silicon Carbide or Boron Carbide plus we offer a range of lightweight ballistic plate options produced using Dyneema, Spectra, Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene materials (UHMWPE or HPPE).
NIJ Protection level: NIJ III, NIJ III+, and NIJ IV are available plus special threat solutions to meet customer specifications.

Important Notes:

• ICW Hard Armour Plates require an NIJ IIIA soft armour solution below the plate.
• Stand Alone Hard Armor Plates do not require any soft armour panel below the plate.
