Reverse Osmosis(RO) is a technology that is used to remove a large majority of contaminants from water by pushing the water under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane.

Before reverse osmosis system, pre-treatment has been used to remove most of visible impurities, organic matter and odor and so on.

Reverse osmosis membrane should not allow chemical ion and bacteria, fungi, viruses through the pores, allowing only water molecules and solvent of volume less than 0.***1 microns passing.
