Fused calcium aluminate (Premelted
calcium aluminates residue) is mainly used for separating the
impurity elements such as sulfur and oxygen in ladle refining of LF
furnace, open hearth furnace and the converter furnace, and it can
reduce the content of harmful elements and impurities, which is
applicable for general carbon steel, high carbon steel, high and
low alloy steel. Its applications have already been mature in some
foreign countries, such as South Korea, Japan, the United States
and the developed European countries.
Over the
years, Ruishi Company has been engaged in the research and
development of fused calcium aluminate. In recent years, based on
technical support of Luoyang Institute of Refractories, referring
to various formulations of different manufacturers at home and
abroad, and adopting a variety of comments and suggestions of the
users, Ruishi Company has made impressive performances in the
whole production process from smelting, manufacturing to using of
the fused calcium aluminate. Fused calcium aluminate of our
company takes the advantages of uniform chemical compositions,
low melting point, high melting speed, and short smelting time.
And it has no fluoride and doesn’t erode furnace lining and
ladle, and it is compact, non-absorbent, and easy to storage as
well. As fused calcium aluminate has stable phase and fast
dust-reducing speed, we can reduce the pollution of steel mill
and make the refining technique mature. Without other impurities
such as hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon, it can help to improve the
quality of steel. Tested by the users, the stability of our fused
calcium aluminate products is long-tested, and it avoids many
instable phenomena brought by the middle and lower end products
such as sintering materials, and cupola furnace products.
In addition,
we can organize mass production according to the different
chemical composition requirements of the customers and keep
confidential for them.
[Usage]
If
deoxidation is the main process, you shall add it to the capsule
bottom directly before tapping. The amount of adding depends on
the carbon content in the molten steel, and is generally
allocated with steel of **6kg/***0kg. One quarter before tapping,
you shall add ferromanganese, ferrosilicon and aluminum with the
general amount. After tapping, you shall add manganese,
ferrosilicon with general amount to the carbon steel, without
adding any other alloys and aluminum feed line, and the steel
ladle only needs to be refined by Argon blowing process. If you
use the product to deoxidize, the increasing carbon agent (SiC)
can be reduced by ****0% in volume.
If
desulfurization is the main process, you shall add it to the
capsule bottom with one-third of usage, but it must be at the
capsule bottom of the steel pounding. With the outflow of molten
steel, you shall add two-thirds of it. And the steel usage of
**8kg/***0kg is depended on the original sulfur content in steel
and the using results.
