One Step Cardiac Troponin I (cTnI) Test kit is used to determine cTnI (a form of cardiac marker) in human serum/plasma. With a few drops of sample, this test can quickly provide a qualitative, visual result to indicate the presence or absence of cTnI within a matter of minutes. ASSAY PROCEDURE
1. Bring all test components and patient samples to room temperature. Remove the test
device after tearing open the pouch, then place the device on a clean level surface.
2. Draw the serum/plasma into the pipette provided, and dispense 3 drops (approx. **0uL)
into the sample well of the cassette.
3. Wait for the colour bands to appear. Depending on the concentration of cTnI in the test
specimen, positive results may be observed in as little as few seconds. To confirm
negative results, the test must be read again in *0 minutes. Do not read results after *0
minutes.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
􀂾 Positive Result: Distinct color lines appear in both the control (C) and (T) test regions.
The appearance of 2 lines indicates the presence of cTnI in human blood and possible
myocardial infarction. The color of the test line intensifies with increasing
concentrations of the cTnI.
􀂾 Negative Result: Only 1 coloured line appears in the control (C) region with no
apparent line in the test (T) region. The sole appearance of 1 line in the control region
only indicates no myocardial infarction.
􀂾 Invalid result: None of line appears or no line appears in the control (C) region. An
invalid result may be due to improper testing procedures or deterioration of the kit
components. Repeat the assay sequence using a new device.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The test kit can be stored at temperatures between 2 to 8°C in the sealed pouch to the
date of expiration. The test kit should be kept away from direct sunlight, moisture and
heat.
