We do not think it would be right to print the signature of a particular designer on the chassis of a piece he or she has never designed, just as the whole matter of authenticity where it is not present. Except Michela Thonet, no living entrepreneur can say to be producing one of the classical pieces of design from the beginning. Therefore buying an authorized copy means buying a piece of furniture which has been manufactured and produced according to the specific design of expert artisans, which is the same thing as buying something that claims to be original.
