AXIS CHEMICAL INDICATORS

Chemical indicators use sensitive chemicals to assess physical conditions such as tempreture during the sterylization process. Chemical indicators change color rapidly when a given parameter is reached. An internal chemical indicator should be placed in every sterilization package to ensure the sterilization agent has penetrated the packaging  material and reached the instruments inside. An external indicator should be used when the internal indicator cannot be seen from outside the package.

Steam Chemical Indicator Class 6 & 5

The steam chemical indicator is the most critical chemical indicator, designed to evaluate all parameters of the sterilization process on the location and to give instand  read-out. The indicator is in compliance with EN ISO ****0 (class 6). The indicators are manufactured in diffrent type (3,5 min 7 min ). The properties and the application are identical to the existing indicator in the various time/temperature versions (3,5 min, 7 min pink to black). Since the optimum sterylization cycle has been attained, all steps turns Pink to Black, and the indicator preserves it`s final colour at least 6 months.

EO Chemical Indicator Class 5

EO chemical indicator is designed to monitor all critical parameters of Ethylene Oxide sterylization ( time, tempreture, gas concentration and humidity). This product is designed for use in ethylene oxide  sterilizers. Easy to read colour change. Following the exposure of the strip to a sterilization cycle, an immediate indication  of exposure of the strip to the process parameters of sterilization is provided if the colour change of the indicator ink is blue to green
