What is Coco Peat?
Derived from coconut husk, coco peat is a growing medium similar to sphagnum peat(peat moss), but with the added advantage of being a renewable resource! 
Coco peat, also called coco pith or coir dust, provides an alternative to potting soil, featuring high water retention, good aeration and antifungal benefits. Coco peat is not only a natural, organic product, but also a renewable one with a slightly acidic pH that most plants prefer to grow in. It is emerging as the top contender for soil-less gardening, horticulture, hydroponics, tissue cultures and agriculture.

• Increases the porosity of soil making it loose and airy- helps in better root growth.
