APPLICATION:

Machine shall be used for Wet and dry granulation of powder into required size of granules, pulverizing, mixing and blending etc.

SYSTEM OPERATION :

The material is fed in the feed hopper from where it is conveyed to the chamber by the feeding

System . In chamber it is milled in between beaters & screen to the required mesh/min **0 micron size which can be collected at the output container.

Quality & output depends upon the three main variables.

1. Beaters Shape (knife / impact forward)

2. Rotor Speed

3. Screen size

Knife edge for coarse or large particles & impact or flat edge for finer particles.

Note: No leakage from the sides of screen. cGMP Model.

MACHINE DESCRIPTION :

Feed System: 

Communiting mill will be equipped with hopper having *5 Lts capacity. In CPMFM III unique provision of Feed Screw is provided to convey Feeding Powder to feed throat. Feed screw is directly coupled to the gear box. It’s speed is varied by variable frequency AC drive. This feature helps to control the Feed rate precisely. In this way it helps to minimize waste, eliminates operational variables & achieves particle uniformity. It is also preferred when fine grinding is required. A safety switch is provided that will shut of the motor if the feed throat is removed, exposing the blades.



Chamber Assembly:

Chamber is equipped with safety grid bars in lower section of chamber. The chamber outlet is designed with an oval ring discharge connection for dust retainers. All side walls can dismantle easy for Cleaning Purpose you can consider it as tool less operation. Machine can also provided with water jacketed arrangement to circulate water from chamber.



Rotor:

The rotor is consisting of *6 Nos. Fixed (or Swing type) with “Knife” edge beaters on one side “Impact” edge on other side. The beaters are made of SS **0. Beater Pins are made of SS *7 4 PH material in Swing type beaters. Pulleys and belts are provided to allow for three operational speed ***0, ***0 and ***0.


Discharge Connection:

Standard oval ring discharge includes canvas retainers.

Base: 

Unit is mounted on a firmed base with legs to allow for a discharge to floor at **0 mm and two casters wheel with break facility and two swivel casters for easy movement. Our castor wheels are heavy duty PU wheel with SS **4 bracket. Guards are provided to cover the drive belts and pulleys.



Construction:

Product contact parts, except blades and shaft are constructed of SS **4 or SS **6 or **6L depends on requirement. All contact parts are polished. The base and legs are constructed of M.S. cladded with SS **4. Safety guards are constructed of SS **4 stainless steel. Food grade silicon rubber is provided to seals in powder contact area. Teflon glad is provided between rotor shaft and bearings to protect it from entering any foreign particle.



Electrical or Controls:

Operating panel will be in SS **4 and in case of FLP operating panel made of SS **4 and NON FLP PANEL outside control panel. The Control enclosures will be mounted on the unit and equipped with a power cord of **5 Mtr. Long main supply cable for Machine. MCB is provided for safety purpose.



Motor:

Unit is provided with 7.5 HP (5.**5 KW), ***0 RPM (± *0%) totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC. Foot Mounted) main drive motor wired for 3 Phase AC, *0 Hz, **5 Volt.. Feed screw motor of 0.5 HP, ***0 RPM (± *0%) is provided for smooth operation.



Miscellaneous:

One instruction manual provided along with a set of tools for disassembly of Custom designed parts. DQ, IQ and OQ can be provided on request.



SAFETY:

Interlocking is provided at Chamber Wall & Feed Throat. Moreover the control desk is provided with a red mushroom- head emergency stop for the M/c stop in the class 0 in compliance with UNI EN.

Castors are provided for mobility and brakes can be applied for fixing machine at one place.
Beaters assembly is dynamically balanced which reduces vibration and noise level and increases bearing life.
Transmission of heat to the chamber from the bearings is minimum as they are away in separate pillow blocks. This facilitates to some extent in processing of heat sensitive products.
Very less down time, as only beaters assembly will have to be reversed (and not the complete chamber) for making it knife to impact forward or vice
