Cottonseed Meal

We have a cottonseed meal product with ****0% crude protein. We also produce other products such as ground corn, soy bean meal, soy bean oil, and cottonseed oil. Our oils are crude and partially degummed. Samples are available upon request.

There are a couple major differences between standard cotton seed meal and Swartz ExPress® Cotton Meal. The first is the manor in which they are processed.

Standard cotton seed meal: 
Has the hulls striped away and the oil is extracted via a chemical process. Hexane is used which is a petroleum bi-product and consequently it is a carcinogenic. Supposedly there is such little hexane residuals that there is no health issues for the cattle or humans.

Swartz ExPress® Cotton Meal:
We do not separate the hulls and use an Extruding/Expelling process which is all natural; we use NO chemicals. With our process we retain the highly digestible fiber, a higher fat content, and a much higher bypass protein. Retaining the fiber without sacrificing the energy is a huge benefit.
