Hibiscus (Hibiscus Sabdariffa) is used to add flavour or fragrance to foods, cosmetics, soaps, toothpaste, mouthwashes, and other products, and it may have some medicinal uses. Main part of the plant is leaves which is used for various applications.

Other studies show that it may help to reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressure and cholesterol levels.Hibiscus is used for treating loss of appetite, colds, heart and nerve diseases, upper respiratory tract pain and swelling (inflammation), fluid retention, stomach irritation, and disorders of circulation; for dissolving phlegm; as a gentle laxative; and as a diuretic to increase urine output.

Preparation
-Use 1 heaped tablespoon per cup required. (2g)
-Place in pot.
-Add boiling water.
-Allow to infuse for 5 to 8 minutes.
-Strain into a cup and enjoy.
