All AMOD electric bicycles are built with a light aluminum alloy frame and high quality components. The motor, integrated in the rear wheel, is a high speed brushless gear DC hub motor. The bikes are equipped with *7V/*0AH light weight Lithium-Ion batteries that can provide an electric-only range of ****0 km and significantly more when the pedals are used in support. The electric motor is controlled either by variable speed throttle or power assist sensor when pedals are used. As is required by EN****4, the maximum electric-only speed for the *6” bikes is *5km/h. All AMOD bicycles are equipped with a disc or ‘V’ braking system.
