 A Fiber Optic Faceplate is a fused coherent fiber optic “window” that accurately transmits an image from  surface to  output surface. Faceplates are used for high resolution, “zero thickness” image transfer in applications that include CCD and CMOS coupling, OLED and LCD displays, image intensification, remote viewing, and field flattening.
     Some Low NA faceplate low thermal expansion cooefficient  applications are for:

• Stray light control in handheld devices
• Large format avionics packages
• Displays for vehicles
• Digital X-ray Medical equipment
