Fibreglass tissue/mat/felt tape is mainly used as substrates for water-proof roofing materials and joint materials. It is characterized by high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, water resistance, high porosity and easy saturation by bitumen and joint compound. The longitudinal strength and tear resistance can be improved further by incorporating reinforcements into the mat across its whole width.
