GAERNE GP*1 ROAD RACE BOOT is with a unique floating system that provents the ankle from twisting with out compromising flexiblity, at the back of the boot and fixed at two points, it runs inside two slots that limit movement in both direction preventing hyperextension or compression. External polyurethane protectors minimize the impact of a fall and faclitate sliding.  Gaerne GP*1 boot comes with a shock absorbing heel that is a non deformable polyurethane heel cup  protected by a replaceable low fiction magnesium slider. The decompression zone features a comfort-enhancing pad located between the insole and sole. With the adjustable calf closure system that is replaceable and has the Micrometric carbon-look buckle enables a custom fit around the calf area.
