H*8A is a kind of carbon constructional steel copper-plated
submerged arc welding wire.
Product Feature
Different welding fluxes can be selected for it to weld the
workpiece, so that the performance of welded joints is different;
and in general, for carbon steel having low obdurability on welded
joints, fused fluxes are used for welding, and for some low alloy
steel, sintered fluxes are used for welding.
Application
It is widely applied to welding of carbon steel (for example, Q**5,
Q**5, etc.) and some low alloy steel (for example *9Mn2, *6MnCu,
*6Mn and *5MnTi) in industries of boilers, ships, pressure
containers, pipes, etc. The used fused fluxes: HJ**1, HJ**3, HJ**4,
etc. The used sintered fluxes: SJ**1, SJ**2, SJ**1, SJ**2, SJ**3,
SJ**2, etc.
Note
When the surface of welding wires is copper-plated, the copper
content should not be more than 0.*5%
