Weadell high pressure laminate is manufactured by pressing melamine impregnated printed and solid color surface papers over phenolic impregnated kraft sheets at pressures over ***0 psi pressure and temperatures of approximately **0 degrees F (**9 degrees C).                                                          Over **0 design-driven high pressure laminates including, metallics, woodgrains, solid colors, digital and silk-screened patterns, textured surfaces. Specialty laminates from Weadell offer some of the finest products available today. These include items that provide structural stability, color-through surfaces, chemical resistance, fire rated surfaces and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
The thinner HPL normally thickness less than 1.2 mm product has a phenolic impregnated sheet on the back side that is sanded to facilitate bonding to a substrate.                                                                                                                                                   Widely used in the purpose of surface decoration on wooden based panels such as MDF, particle board, plywood,etc., applied in room, office, compartment, partition, kitchen, sideboard, furniture, lab work top, etc.
