Core:
Honeycomb:
AL AHD standard
Hollow metal door has a paper honeycomb core. The core is
permanently bonded to door skins strengthening the structural
integrity of the door, enhancing long term performance and
durability, while significantly reducing the weight.
Honeycomb core is made from layers of paper bonded together by
parallel and uniformly spaced lines of adhesive, light weight and
high strength, glued to the interior surface of the door skin, door
leaf is then pressed for a couple of hours to maintain the flatness
of the door.
Door
Frames:
The material used for frame is Galvanized Steel or Stainless
Steel. The standard door frame thickness is 1.5mm and 2.0mm. The
frame is constructed by welded or knocked down method.
Frames are supplied primed as standard. Alternatively they can be
supplied powder coated as per customer request.
Preparation is done for visible or concealed fixing bolts or
brackets. Welded frames are provided as an alternative, standard
frames are of bolted construction. Special profiles and higher
steel gauges are also available.
Vision Panels and
Louvers:
There are a wide range of both door windows and louvers
available. Different configurations and designs can be
incorporated to match the customer’s requirements. All glazing
frames and cut-outs are prepared and supplied by the door
manufacturer
1.Door leaf: *5mm thickness, 1.2mm Sheet thickness
2.Thermal insulation: All-round fire and smoke prevention expansion seal(on 4 sides)
3.Door frame: Double rabbet frame with
all-round fire and smoke prevention seal .Sheet thickness
1.5mm,Galvanized steel. Welded-on anchor brackets(standard)
4.Floor details: With stepped threshold,
Without thresholf and With demountable threshold(option)
5.Surface finish: Door leaf and frame
powder coated in RAL color
6.Special color: Acceptable in chosen
other RAL color
7.Hinges: 4.5"×4.5"×3.4mm stainless steel
hinge w/2 ball bearings. Floor Mount Hinges option
8.Lock: Panic bar exit device with lever handle. Fire resistant mortise lock with profile cylinder,keys and lever handle(optional)
9.Closing devices: Overhead door closer
