The spider lift's tracked undercarriage
and hydraulic outriggers make it very easy to transport when it
needs to be moved from one job site to another. When loading, the
operator only needs to open the outriggers to suspend the spider
lift body in the air, drive the transport vehicle under the body,
and then retract the outriggers to transport it to the next site.
When unloading, the operator first opens the outriggers to
suspend the spider lift body in the air, drives the transport
vehicle away from the body, then operates the outriggers to lower
the body to the ground and retracts the outriggers. The operator
can also use a mobile auxiliary flatbed for
transportation.
