Application of Belt Conveyor

Working principle of Belt Conveyor

 

Belt conveyor mainly consist of two main endpoint rollers and one closure conveyor belt tightly setting on it. What drives the conveyor belt rotat drum rotate is called drive roller (transmission roller). Another one which changes moving direction of conveyor belt roller called redirection roller. Drive roller is driven by motor through reducer, the conveyor belt is dragged by the friction between the drive roller and belt. Drive roller is generally loaded in unloading end in order to increase traction and make contribution for dragging. The material is feeding from the feeding position, then fall in the rotating conveyor belt, relying on the driving friction to unload at the discharging port.
