Directors are expected by the Health and Safety at Work act and
other health and safety legislation to understand their duties
and responsibilities for directing health and safety.
The IOSH Directing Safely course aims to give directors and
business owners an understanding of the moral, legal and business
case for proactive health and safety direction and management,
and to give guidance on effective risk management.
How?
The S.A Associates (IOSH) Directing Safely course does this by
explaining the duties of health and safety direction and helping
Directors and Senior Managers to scrutinise and examine their
organisations existing arrangements for the strategic direction
and management of health and safety. The course is very
interactive with suitable exercises (listed overleaf) for the
delegates to complete prior to and during the course
