It is a cosmetic procedure in which the surface of the epidermis of the skin (the stratum corneum) is removed by abrasion (sanding).
Dermabrasion is used to remove sun-damaged skin and to remove or lessen scars and dark spots on the skin. We offer two types of
*Dermabrasion treatments:*
¬ diamond dermabrasion – abrasion is done by diamond heads
¬ micro crystal dermabrasion – it involves the vacuum and a special hand-piece with overlay that propel a high-speed flow of
aluminum oxide crystals onto the skin. At the same time, the machine's vacuum system sucks away dirt, bacteria, dead cells and used crystals.
The main difference between micro-crystal and diamond dermabrasion is that micro-crystal dermabrasion is totally hygienic.
