General Description: The JV***0 also offers the advantages of UV resistant pigmented inks. The Mimaki pigmented inks have a high color hue which creates very vivid colors, and the pigmented inks allow for longer outdoor UV stability than dye based inks. Mimaki pigmented inks are also very fast drying. Once the piezo print head disperses the ink, it is only a matter of seconds before the ink is dry to the touch. This is accomplished, in part, due to the smaller volume of ink delivered by the piezo print head. The ink is fully dry by the time the media reaches the motorized take-up roll which is only *2" away from the print head. This allows for unattended, overnight print jobs.
