this painting descriubes or potrays day to day life that goes on at a particular town within the coast line of the east african coast in a town called lamu that has a historic aspect that goes back about three centuries. most of the buildings here were build in the *6th to *8th century and they still stand strong and has artistic features that portrays richness. in the painting i have painted a cannon that the people of acient days used to keep away enimies who attacked the towns mainly from the sea side.the size of this painting is at *8 inches width and *0 inches height.
