PBO Belt, withstanding up to **0℃ (***2℉), is commonly used in the first-stage step-wise cooling table. However, PBO Belt is not the necessity for every handling system. It becomes available only for those lines with large press and producing bigger irregular profiles. After the profile formed and out of the extrusion spout, cooled off through the initial area, the temperature is still quite high. Then from the run-out table to the pick-up, at this stage, Kevlar Belt will quickly get worn and even burnt with the high temperature and quick abrasion. In such occasion, PBO Belt becomes a better choice. There is Kevlar Tension Member incorporated for belt to stand stronger stretch.
