PDC is composed of a layer of polycrystalline diamond and hard alloy substrate, and is synthesized through agglomeration of diamond micropowder and hard alloy substrate under the condition of ultrahigh pressure and high temperature (*0, **0 atmospheric pressure, ********0℃). 　　PDC is mainly applicable for PDC drilling bit for drilling into soft and intermediate-hardness stratum. 　　Microstructure with complete C-C bond combination is characterized between the grains of diamond in polycrystalline diamond layer, which allows the high strength, high hardness and high wearing property of diamond layer as well as good self-sharpening property.
