Between Iranian people pistachios are known as
"Green Gold" and are considered as an important commodity in both
nutritional and economical forms. Pistachios is so popular and
favorable for Iranian. Persian pistachios in terms of their appearance
and size are classified into three main groups :Round, Long
and Jumbo.
In shell pistachios are mostly packed in *5kg
to *0 kg pp bag while kernels are packed in *0kg cartons
vacuumed.
Akbari belongs
to the long type of Iranian pistachios. Akbari pistachios are
available in different sizes: ****2, ****4, ****6, and
****8.
Ahmad
Aghaei (AA) is also one of long type of Iranian
pistachios. These pistachios are available in various sizes:
****2, ****4, ****6, ****8, ****0, and
****2.
Badami is
another type of long Iranian pistachios, and in terms of length
it is shorter than Ahmadaghaei, and particularly its kernel is
very similar to almond. Badami pistachios are available in sizes:
****4, ****6, ****8, ****0, and ****2.
Fandoghi
has round shape and its different than long pistachios, its
length is shorter and smaller compared to other type of
pistachios. Fandoghi pistachios are available in sizes: ****4,
****6, ****8, ****0, ****2, and ****4.
Kallehghouchi
(Jumbo) pistachios are larger and longer compared to
round pistachios. Kallehgouchi pistachio (Jumbo) pistachios
are available in sizes: ****0, ****2, ****4, ****6, and
****0.
Closed
shell pistachio
is naturally closed and has not opened yet.
Through process of shelling closed shell pistachios become
natural kernels through a mechanically procedure. All type of
pistachios has closed shell type too and the yield kernels are
****0%.
Natural Pistachio
Kernels normally come from two types of pistachios,
closed shells pistachios and open shell pistachios, and kernels
can be from any type. These are taken through shelling
process.
Green Pistachio
kernels are normally produced through harvesting
pistachios when they are still raw (Kaal) which means before the
pistachios become completely ripe. These types of pistachio
kernels are normally more expensive than other type of
pistachios, due to costly process
