Resectoscopeis a combination of a cystoscope and electrosurgical instrument, which enables the resection of the prostate with an electrical activated wire loop.
Resectoscope for TURPconsists of an optical and working element with resectoscope loop and the resectoscope sheath (Rotatable sheath) with obturator. With the help of the working element, the wire loop can be moved.
During transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), an instrument is inserted up the urethra to remove the section of the prostate that is blocking urine flow. TURP SET used in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
