Rock Salt Originated About **6 Million Years Ago .The Salt Range In Pakistan Is The Biggest Sole Producer Of Rock Salt In The Entire Continent Of Asia. The Salt Miners Of The Salt Range, Mine Is Salt As The Ancient Trade And Are Passed On The Art Of Mining Salt Crystals From Their Ancestors. The Salt Crystals Are Retained In Their Most Original Shape And Form To Produce The Desired Effect. Blasting And Mechanical Mining Is Mostly Avoided To Achieve And Get Most Desired Effects. The Quality Of Rock Salt As Far As Crystals Is Concerned Can Be Found Here Of Four Different Types Including Pink, And White Solid Crystal And The Other Two Available Are Soft Lump And Soft Crystalline Lump. The Soft Crystalline Lump Is So Soft That It Can Be Very Easily Broken Down To Tiny Crystals By Ones Own Hands.
