◆Speciality and Function：
1. Shrimp star feed (SSF) was developed as a remediable feed for infectious diseases of shrimp.
2. SSF reduces mortality of shrimp infected with vibrio and/or virus and promotes survival.
3. This effect appears by feeding with SSF for about two weeks and disappears by suspending the feeding for one or two weeks. This suggests that SSF should be supplied continuously to keep its effect throughout the cultivation term.
4. Environmental pollution with dense aquaculture result in some damage on the defense mechanism of shrimp and that leads to depression of SSF’s work.
